Slave-to-the-Wage

I never will keep up with this thing. It just isn't a priority. So don't count on me. On the other hand I just put up a bunch of pictures. They are by no means anything profession because in all honesty I am not an artist. I am just someone who gets inspired every once in awhile and wants to have fun. I hope you guys enjoy. Critique it if you want but it was just on a whim and nothing more than a fun evening running around in my bare feet.

I always have such a problem with drawing hands.... and feet, but mostly hands. It perplexes me... I am terribly perplexed. I just can't get them to turn out right. *sigh* I need some good references and just keep drawing them over and over again until I am sick of them and can draw them without looking. Whats worse is that I try to use my own hand to help me but it still comes out bad. That should be my art final for the semester, a big pair of hands blown up and then ink everything else so they stand out like some radiating object. I don't think my art teacher would like it... or who knows she might go for it since what I think is ugly she

I want to change my avatar, and I have a full stock of images I want to use for a new avatar but I need to know is the easiest way to resize an image? What programs will keep the best quality?
